For more than 20 years, I've enjoyed creating warm, sensitive and exciting portraits of families, individuals, children and family pets in my studio and on location.
Having these wonderful images printed in an adequate size, custom framed and hung in a place of prominence in the home is so rewarding, not only to me but my clients as well.
These days, many people have never even seen images like this, and very few own them. Not a week goes by when someone doesn't stop by my studio and look at the gallery of 16x20, 20x24 and 30x40 prints hanging on the walls (as well as the prints in front display windows) and spend quite a bit of time looking at each and every one of the large prints.
Some people think displaying photographic wall portraits around their homes is a thing of the past, oh how wrong they are. This pas year (2014) may be a record year for my clients purchasing portrait prints in large sizes such as 11x14, 16x20 and 20x24 including non-standard sizes, 10x30 for example.
For many people, photographs have been delegated to their smart phones, on their computers, in digital frames or tiny prints in cheap frames sitting on shelves.
What better way for a person to make a statement of how important their family is to them than to have a large print created, beautifully framed and hung in their home? For example, when a family friend, a relative or a business acquaintance arrives at your home, what will be the first thing that person sees as they enter? A 30 x 40 mirror, a large wall hanging or the currently popular vinyl word wall decals?
Wouldn't it be better for them to see a beautiful wall portrait of your entire family custom framed and hanging proudly in a place of prominence in your home?
