Our wedding photography is provided three ways to accommodate different types of weddings and budgets.

In Studio Wedding Portraits - Formal wedding portraits for those who desire quality without spending as much for portraits when compared to a wedding on location or in a church.

Location Wedding Portraits - This style is for those who are not being married in a church setting and is best suited for outdoor weddings, weddings in private homes or weddings at intimate locations such as "A Catered Affair At The Beck Mansion."

Church Wedding Portraits - For those who will be married in a church setting, the style is very traditional but also includes informal poses.

In regards to Location Wedding Portraits and Church Wedding Portraits, Michael only schedules a total of two weddings per year and he does not do photography on Sundays or major holidays.

Available dates from August through December may be limited.

Wedding Portrait Investment Costs

Studio Wedding Portraits

A Session Fee is required and must be paid prior to the scheduled date for the session. The Session Fee is determined by the total number of subjects in the largest group to be photographed. The Session Fee and finished portraits are priced according to the current portrait price brochure. This wedding portrait session may be scheduled to take place at a minimum of three hours before the ceremony or may take place between the end of the ceremony and the start of the reception.

Location Wedding Portraits

The fee for this service is $350.00 per hour with a minimum of three hours. There will be a charge of $350.00 for each additional hour required on the day of the wedding.

On the day the wedding date is commissioned with our studio, a $1,000.00 deposit is required. This deposit applies toward the wedding photography and includes an engagement portrait session and digital image files to be used for wedding announcements.

For weddings outside the city limits of Centerville, Iowa there is an additional $50 surcharge and mileage at a rate of 75 cents per mile to and from the wedding location.

Church Wedding Portraits

The fee for this service is $500.00 per hour with a minimum of four hours. There will be a charge of $500.00 for each additional hour required on the day of the wedding.

On the day the wedding date is commissioned with our studio, a $2,000.00 deposit is required. This deposit applies toward the wedding photography and includes an engagement portrait session and digital image files to be used for wedding announcements.

For weddings outside the city limits of Centerville, Iowa there is an additional $50 surcharge and mileage at a rate of 75 cents per mile to and from the wedding location.

Wedding Consultation

A wedding consultation is required and if possible, it should be held at the location of the wedding. During the consultation, subjects discussed will include who is photographed, specific locations for different poses, start time, photography prior to the ceremony, photography at the wedding reception, etc.

Wedding Proof Viewing

Proofs from the wedding will be ready for viewing in approximately fifteen days following the wedding. Proofs may be viewed in a standard spiral bound proof book and/or online. Proofs will be on loan for a period of six weeks. This loan period may be extended upon request if needed.
